PICTORIAL TIMELINE

In order to better inform you as to what is happening with our construction project, Arbour Construction Management has provided us with the following timeline to show how the project has progressed and what to expect in the final stages of completion.
-1-              5/12/04
site clearing of new west lot... excellent time to start building but building permit delays project until 10/6/04

By design, buoyancy created by groundwater table is offset by a basement slab heavily reinforced and 3 ft. thick

High water table requires that basement walls and 3 ft. thick basement slab receive a waterproof membrane.
-5-              01/04/2005
Steel required at top of basement walls prior to backfill around basement area.  Such backfill required to allow east and west grade walls to be placed.

Interface between new and existing portion of church requires scaffold to support upper structure since existing structure will be undermined by new footing construction.

West elevation grade wall formwork in place.  Winter concrete pours protected by thermal blankets.

Masonry CMU Wall construction is now underway.  Note too basement slab  on deck is now installed.

Defects found in CMU Masonry wall construction cause project delays, remedial work and supplemental special inspections.

Timber frame erection commences with the setting of the main cmpression ring.  Such ring will later form the base of the major roof top skylight.

Timber frame, deck, and deck protection paper are now well underway.  Chimney and west wall crane access masonry had to be held off until the initial timber frame was erected.

The last six weeks have seen the floor slab poured, west access CMU wall placed and CMU chimney built.

Remedial concrete work required along the east foundation wall takes two weeks to complete.  Remedial CMU block work nearly complete.

The wait for precast concrete and colored mortar is finally over and the exterior fenestration elements now begin.

Colored split face block, two tone brick, and precast concrete work well underway.

Roofing commences in earnest with major tie-in work between new and existing buildings.  Enough Patina Green trim metal now in roofers' hands - this allows shingle work to commence.
-17-             11/02/2005
Roofing, window and skylight work substantially complete.  Interior mechanical and electrical rough-in work together with metal stud work now underway inside building.

Exterior paving binder work substantially complete, sidewalk placements around the building commence.  Interior rough-in work continues absent of temporary heat due to National Fuel scope conflict.

General views of interior work now complete.  At long last, temporary heat is active.

Building excavation commences upon receipt of building permit... Ground water encountered, winter fast approaching.
FUTURE TIMELINE:
1. By Feb. 3, 2006:
all worship space mechanical, electrical, drywall, paint and trim will be complete
2. By March 3, 2006: all worship space tile work will be complete
By March 20, 2006: all pews and seating will be installed
